Opinion piece

My own definition of an opinion piece: I think that an opinion piece means that you have your own opinion on something using correct facts,information, and news to build your piece. You're meant to be informing the reader what your opinion is, without trying to bully them into having the same opinion. I agree with both parties, they both have assured us that if the corona virus does arrive in NZ, we shouldn't worry because they have things set in place so that it doesn't spread far.However, I agree with labour that we shouldn't be racist towards the Chinese/Asian community because it isn't their fault for this disease, and it doesn't help anyone or anything if we're being racist towards people it's not helping us find a cure or removing the risk of infection.
